FAQs
Your name says mini barns. Do you do larger projects?
Yes! Hill View Mini Barns started in 1999 building and delivering smaller storage sheds for residences. The business quickly expanded to include garages, camps and log sided homes. Our product line goes from 8’x8′ storage sheds to 30’x56′ completely finished homes.
How soon can you deliver my building?
Our production schedule can vary between the seasons. In the beginning of the year it may be 4 weeks but as the summer season progresses we may be backed up 12 weeks or so. The best thing is to call one of the offices at 207-269-2800 to get an accurate idea of the lead time or check our current lead times here.
How far do you deliver?
We deliver throughout Maine and New Hampshire and parts of Vermont and Massachusetts.
Do you provide financing?
We don’t offer traditional financing in-house but we have a rent to own program for most buildings with a cash value up to $18,000. Each month’s payment is split between rent and paying down the cash price of the building. This allows you to rent a building for 2, 3, or 4 years and own it in the end. For larger purchases we’re happy to provide contacts for some of the local banks that we’re familiar with.
Can you customize buildings?
We offer lots of options and features that allow for a customized look and feel of each building. One way we keep our costs down is to have standard options without getting into a completely customized building. We feel that our product line meets most people’s needs.
What’s the history of your company?
Hill View Mini Barns began as a husband/wife team in 1999. Buildings were built one at a time in a small garage at the owner’s property. Now, more than 24 years later, there are 7 sales locations in Maine, over 65 employees, and many display locations.
